Today, I would like to share you what I am really fond of nowadays.
It`s about art work made by Hand.
今日は、私が日頃から愛してやまない手仕事の素晴らしさを紹介していきたいと思います。
I represent several oversea artists in my company but one of the artist
called Maricor Maricar is really talented twin artists and I would like to
show you some of their work and process how they make their work.
私が運営している会社には数十人の海外の作家がいるのですが、その中でも
手仕事が美しい作家のマリコ・マリカという双子の作家がいるので、彼女達の作品や
作品の過程を紹介したいと思います。
Maricor/Maricar are a design and illustration sister creative team
specialising in hand embroidered and tactile graphics.
Their illustration and animation work has exhibited locally and internationally.
They’re awards include a RYD award from the British Council Australia
and a Young Guns Award by the Art Directors Club based in New York.
マリコ・マリカは、ハンドメイドの刺繍を中心にイラストレーション、デザインを制作する
二人組のクリエイティブユニットです。イラストレーションやアニメーションの作品を
彼女達の地元であるオーストラリアを初めとして世界中で発表しています。
オーストラリアのブリティッシュ・カウンシルにてRYD賞を受賞した他、
NYのアートディレクターズクラブにおいてYoung Guns Awardも受賞しています。
They make all of art together with careful hand work.
I want to show you the actual work.

彼女達は作品を全て一緒に作っており、その手仕事は本当に慎重かつ丁寧です。

こちらが彼女達のシドニーのスタジオです。
When they are working on hand made art work, they work like this.
