Antoine HilaireとFlo Lyonnetの2人からなる、パリ出身の人気インディー・ロック・バンドJAMAICAが、大ヒットを記録したデビュー・アルバム「No Problem」のリリースから約4年ぶりとなる、待望のセカンド・アルバム「Ventura」を2014年3月にリリースすることを発表！
あのキャッチーなメロディー・センスと斬新なギター・ロック・サウンドを残しつつも、初めて生のドラムやピアノなども使ってレコーディングを行い、大好評だった彼らのライブ・バンドとしてのサウンドを全面に押し出した、JAMAICAの最新アルバム「Ventura」がついに完成。
そして、JAMAICAのボーカルを務めるアントワンが今回手掛けた「Ventura」向けティザー・ビデオには、彼らが、ロサンゼルスとパリのスタジオで行ったレコーディングの模様や、今年東京へプロモ来日した際に撮影したオフ・ショットなどが登場する他、最新アルバム収録予定の新曲「Hello Again」が、挨拶代わりに、使用されている。
また、このJAMAICAの新曲「Hello Again」の方も、フル・バージョンでも公開開始され、フリー・ダウンロードとしても提供が開始となっているので、それらも、是非、お見逃し無く！

The popular Parisian Indie-Rock duo Jamaica formed by Antoine Hilaire and Flo Lyonnet are due to follow-up their smash hit debut album “No Problem,” released in 2010, with their sophomore album “Ventura” due to be releasing in March 2014.
From the brand new teaser video, featuring the new song “Hello Again,” you can hear that their catchy vocal melodies and hooks as well as those unforgettable metallic guitar sounds are all still there. However, what makes for a dramatic difference here from “No Problem” is from their using live drums which gives the new song from “Ventura” the kind of power and feel like that from their popular live performances and brings back memories of how great they are as a live band as well.
The teaser video directed by Antoine of Jamaica features the new song “Hello Again” and includes various scenes from their recording in studios in Los Angeles and Paris as well as scenes from their recent promo visit here in Tokyo.
Jamaica have also made the full version of their new song “Hello Again” available for streaming and made it available as a free download from their website almost as if really saying “Hello Again” to their fans(who are sure to be saying “Great hearing from you” back to them now also)!
