ROOM2では、RuralやRe:birthといった野外フェスティバルへも出演し活動の幅を広げるAkey、パーティー/ コレクティヴ DisciplineやNAN+NA、レーベルROIROを主宰し多岐に渡る活動を行うGolpe Mortal、2021年に自身初となるEP、DaybreakをコロンビアのレーベルBODYMUSICKからリリースしたthe2$、東京を拠点に活動し2022年から自身のプロジェクトButohをスタートさせたXINOVIがプレイする。
Get ready to experience an electrifying set from Volvox at Hydrosy! As the mastermind behind Unter, one of NYC’s top afterhours parties, Volvox knows how to keep the party going all night long. She’s even shared the stage with legendary DJs like Marcel Dettmann and Mike Servito, and earned recognition from top music media outlets like Pitchfork, as well as from Berghain.
Hydrosy will be co-hosted by none other than the one and only Mars89, known for his uncompromising electronic beats that have made him a standout in Tokyo’s underground club scene. Joining him on stage will be Mayudepth, a resident DJ of the queer party Motorpool, who has released on German label Ohrfeigen and the techno powerhouse Shiki Kyokai, helmed by the renowned Hydrosy resident DJ Shufflemaster. And don’t miss the incredible Shioriy Bradshaw, a Hong Kong Community Radio resident whose music blends her hip hop roots with industrial and experimental genres for a truly unique sound. This is a lineup you won’t want to miss!
In Room 2, get ready for an exciting lineup featuring Akey, who has performed at outdoor festivals such as Rural and Re:birth. Joining her will be Golpe Mortal, who runs the party/collective Discipline, NAN+NA, and the label ROIRO, and is active in a wide range of fields. Also performing is the2$, who made his mark in 2021 with the release of his first EP Daybreak on the Colombian label BODY MUSICK, and XINOVI, a Tokyo-based artist who launched his own project Butoh in 2022.
